To increase the energy industry’s capacity to develop and adapt innovative technologies that maximizes the value of Alberta’s natural and renewable resources.

STRATEGIC INTENT

AERI’s mission will be achieved by promoting collaborative research and development along the entire innovation chain, in partnership with industry and other government organizations. AERI will work closely with Alberta Energy, Alberta Environment, and Alberta Employment, Immigration and Industry to strengthen the Province’s energy sector. AERI’s role is to take a strategic view for acquiring, advancing and integrating the knowledge required to make Alberta a global energy leader.
